I began my teaching career at the Career Complex October 2002. Having over twenty-five years of experience in the automotive field has enabled me to assist my students to excel as automotive service technology students in the classroom, SkillUSA, Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills contest and complete postsecondary training at several Universal Technical Institutes, Hinds Community College and state universities/colleges.

August 2005, I received my Master Automobile Technician certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service of Excellence. The Clinton High School Career complex Automotive Service Technology program became NATAF certified July 2007 in the areas of Brakes, Electrical Electronic Systems, Engine Performance and Suspension & Steering. My email address is cmelton@clinton.k12.ms.us
